Aldridge-Mead Chiropractic has been serving Newark and Licking County for the past twenty-four years. At your first visit to Aldridge-Mead Chiropractic, Dr. Mead will explain how chiropractic care works and perform a thorough examination to specifically identify the root cause of your problem. Based on these findings she will customize a plan of care for your specific condition and health goals. Dr. Mead takes a “whole person” approach, which means looking for the underlying cause of disease, discomfort, and pain, as opposed to just treating the symptoms. Many seemingly unrelated symptoms often arise from imbalances in the spinal column. Under the supervision of our caring and skilled chiropractor, patients report higher functioning in all areas of their lives.

Meet the Doctor

  • Dr.
    Angela Mead

    Dr. Angela Mead is a native of Licking county where she graduated from Lakewood High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.

    Dr. Mead has an additional year of  study in the specialty field of pediatrics. This skill has enhanced the gentleness in adjustments to all patients. She was also the recipient of the “Business of the Year Award” for all of Licking County in 2006 and was selected as one of “America’s Top Chiropractors” by the Consumer’s Research Council of America in 2009, 2011, and 2019. She is also a member of the Ohio Chiropractic Association.

    Dr Mead is very involved in the community where she serves as a public speaker on topics such as wellness, pain prevention, and other health issues for employers, civic organizations, and church groups. She also teaches Bible studies in her spare time.
